7. The reason for all

Chapter Summary: It's all
paraÉl. The ultimate goal is to show the world the glory of God.
The glory of God is God. It is the essence of his nature, the weight of its importance, the brightness of its splendor, the demonstration of its power and atmosphere of his presence. It is the expression of his goodness and all the other qualities of his person.
Everything God created reflects in one way or another, his glory. Christ is the light of the world and is the one who best demonstrates the glory of God.
We must honor his glory, acknowledge, declare, praise, relfejarla, live because God deserves it! and we owe all the oven that we are able to give. Live for the glory of God is the greatest achievement we have.
We can give glory to God if we fulfill the purpose for which we were created, as it does all that He created:
  • glorify God when we worship
  • when we love other believers
  • when we become more like Christ
  • when we serve others with our gifts
  • when you witness to others

live for the glory of God is the only way that makes life worth living. If you believe that God loves and accepts it, because the road to eternity has begun.

Day Seven:

Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: Everything is for Him

Verse to Remember: "Because of Him, through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever "Romans 11:36

Question to consider: Where I can be more aware of the glory of God in my daily life?

6. Life is a temporary assignment

Chapter Summary:
To make good use of your life you must never forget two truths:
  • life compared to eternity is extremely short
  • The earth is only a temporary residence
The Bible compares life on earth to live in a foreign country. Your identity is in eternity and your homeland is heaven. When you understand this truth you will stop worrying about "having it all" on earth.
The fact that the earth is not our ultimate home explains why we, as followers of Jesus, we go hard, suffering and rejection in this world. It also explains why some of the promises of God seem inconcñusas, some prayers unanswered and some events appear to be unfair.
When life gets tough, when you are filled with the questions or when you question whether it is worth living sacrifice for Christ, remember that you have not yet come home. In death not leave your home, rather go home.

Day Six:
Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: This world is not my home
Verse to Remember: So do not you look at the visible but in invisible, because what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. "2 Corinthians 4:18
Question to consider: How should I change my way of life Today, the fact that life on earth is only a temporary assignment?

5. Life from God's perspective

Chapter Summary:
The way you see your life is your life. For example, if you think life is a party, then your priority will be fun.
The Bible offers three approaches or metaphors that teach us what life is from the perspective of God (in this chapter discusses the first two, the last in the following):
  • Life on earth is a test : we are preparing for eternal life, God tests our readiness to it.
  • Life on Earth is a trust: God has given us time, our drive, intelligence, opportunities, resources, talents for which we must respond.
  • Life is a temporary assignment (discussed in the next chapter)
Life is a test and an assignment, and the more God gives you, expect you to be more responsible.

Day Five Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: Life is a test and a trust.
Verse to Remember: "He who is honest in very little can also be trusted with much ". Luke 16:10
Question to consider: What has happened to me recently that I see now that was a test from God? What are the biggest things God has entrusted to me?

4. Created to live forever

Chapter Summary:
This life is not everything, it's just a rehearsal before the real action, which is eternity, where we will be much longer than here.
The Bible says that God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, that is why we have an innate desire for immortality. God made us in His image and likeness and death seems unfair and want to live forever because God has put that idea on us!
earthly life gives us many options, but the eternal only two: heaven and hell, and if you learn to love and trust in Jesus Christ, will be the invitation to spend eternity with him. But if you reject his love, forgiveness and salvation will spend eternity separated from God forever.
When you live in eternity according to the problems that were too big and now they have significance. It makes better use of time and money, rearrange your priorities.
is because life is just the beginning of eternity, is that Christians should not "live the moment" because this life is our ultimate life.

Day Four: Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: Life is much more to live for the moment.

Verse to Remember: " The world and its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever " 1 John 2:17

Question to consider: Since I was created to purchase live forever, what should stop doing, and what should start doing today?
