7. The reason for all

Chapter Summary: It's all
paraÉl. The ultimate goal is to show the world the glory of God.
The glory of God is God. It is the essence of his nature, the weight of its importance, the brightness of its splendor, the demonstration of its power and atmosphere of his presence. It is the expression of his goodness and all the other qualities of his person.
Everything God created reflects in one way or another, his glory. Christ is the light of the world and is the one who best demonstrates the glory of God.
We must honor his glory, acknowledge, declare, praise, relfejarla, live because God deserves it! and we owe all the oven that we are able to give. Live for the glory of God is the greatest achievement we have.
We can give glory to God if we fulfill the purpose for which we were created, as it does all that He created:
  • glorify God when we worship
  • when we love other believers
  • when we become more like Christ
  • when we serve others with our gifts
  • when you witness to others

live for the glory of God is the only way that makes life worth living. If you believe that God loves and accepts it, because the road to eternity has begun.

Day Seven:

Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: Everything is for Him

Verse to Remember: "Because of Him, through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever "Romans 11:36

Question to consider: Where I can be more aware of the glory of God in my daily life?

6. Life is a temporary assignment

Chapter Summary:
To make good use of your life you must never forget two truths:
  • life compared to eternity is extremely short
  • The earth is only a temporary residence
The Bible compares life on earth to live in a foreign country. Your identity is in eternity and your homeland is heaven. When you understand this truth you will stop worrying about "having it all" on earth.
The fact that the earth is not our ultimate home explains why we, as followers of Jesus, we go hard, suffering and rejection in this world. It also explains why some of the promises of God seem inconcñusas, some prayers unanswered and some events appear to be unfair.
When life gets tough, when you are filled with the questions or when you question whether it is worth living sacrifice for Christ, remember that you have not yet come home. In death not leave your home, rather go home.

Day Six:
Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: This world is not my home
Verse to Remember: So do not you look at the visible but in invisible, because what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. "2 Corinthians 4:18
Question to consider: How should I change my way of life Today, the fact that life on earth is only a temporary assignment?

5. Life from God's perspective

Chapter Summary:
The way you see your life is your life. For example, if you think life is a party, then your priority will be fun.
The Bible offers three approaches or metaphors that teach us what life is from the perspective of God (in this chapter discusses the first two, the last in the following):
  • Life on earth is a test : we are preparing for eternal life, God tests our readiness to it.
  • Life on Earth is a trust: God has given us time, our drive, intelligence, opportunities, resources, talents for which we must respond.
  • Life is a temporary assignment (discussed in the next chapter)
Life is a test and an assignment, and the more God gives you, expect you to be more responsible.

Day Five Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: Life is a test and a trust.
Verse to Remember: "He who is honest in very little can also be trusted with much ". Luke 16:10
Question to consider: What has happened to me recently that I see now that was a test from God? What are the biggest things God has entrusted to me?

4. Created to live forever

Chapter Summary:
This life is not everything, it's just a rehearsal before the real action, which is eternity, where we will be much longer than here.
The Bible says that God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, that is why we have an innate desire for immortality. God made us in His image and likeness and death seems unfair and want to live forever because God has put that idea on us!
earthly life gives us many options, but the eternal only two: heaven and hell, and if you learn to love and trust in Jesus Christ, will be the invitation to spend eternity with him. But if you reject his love, forgiveness and salvation will spend eternity separated from God forever.
When you live in eternity according to the problems that were too big and now they have significance. It makes better use of time and money, rearrange your priorities.
is because life is just the beginning of eternity, is that Christians should not "live the moment" because this life is our ultimate life.

Day Four: Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: Life is much more to live for the moment.

Verse to Remember: " The world and its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever " 1 John 2:17

Question to consider: Since I was created to purchase live forever, what should stop doing, and what should start doing today?

3. What guides my life?

Chapter Summary:
What drives me ... Some guides
:
  • guilt resentment
  • fear materialism
  • the need for acceptance
addition to some other things that make us tied to the past or things that ensnare us before we can progress.

Benefits of having a purposeful life:
  • knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life (if one is clear about where you know where to go)
  • knowing your purpose simplifies your life (one does things out of our goal and not waste time)
  • stimulates
  • know your purpose your life (knowing the "why" tells us that over there and gives us peace we having no uncertainty)
  • you know your purpose prepare for eternity (we do things for God, the things we do for the earth are fleeting)
At the end of our days God will take care of our religious or doctrinal backdrop, but whether we accept Christ as our only savior our hearts, if we learned to love and trust Him and to gain eternal life.
And also, what we will use the talents he gave us: If you were used to the purposes that God put in us or not.
then we must be prepared for questions: where to spend eternity and what will I do it, because it has already begun.

Day Three:

point of reflection: Living with purpose is the path to peace.

Verse to Remember: " The final purpose will keep in perfect peace because you trust " Isaiah 23:3

2. Not an accident

Chapter Summary:
God intended us long before we were born. We did, as he thought our physical and psychological characteristics. Nobody in this world was without its "design", even those who were not planned by their parents. Birth would have decided when and how should we live, where we would spend our lives.
The reason I had to create us was to express his love, we thought before the creation of the world and for us it did.

Task book

Day Two:
Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: am not an accident.
Verse to Remember: "I am your creator. I took care of even before you were born." Isaiah 44:2
Question to consider: Aware that God has created a unique way, what parts of my personality, background and physical appearance I am struggling to accept?

My thoughts:
of my personality I think there are many things I had to master and have achieved. Sometimes I struggle with this tendency to always say yes. I've managed not live to please others, but I still have that detail. I think another thing about which I have to work is consistency, responsibility, punctuality (I hate to be punctual and always fought against that.) I'm messy I think that is extrapolated in various facets of my life.
For my history, thank God that allowed me to work on the forgiveness of my past. I am rejoicing to have worked on forgiveness, to make a fresh start for everything I experienced was a kid story. I did not wish to waste any time in my past and regret not taking control of my mind for the better. Now, I feel freed and freed others with my forgiveness. Thank the Lord for that.
And my physical appearance ... girl was very self-conscious when I was ugly because she was not blond or blue eyes. Now you do not, there are things that are solvable, but I think the issue that has marked my life is the fat, to be robust, the once have been very thin and not look for my body characteristics. Accept me as I am in that respect has cost me a lot, and it's hard, but I know it's a job the way I want to achieve to be. I know the Lord will help me.

Why am I here on Earth? 1. Everything begins with God

Chapter Summary:
were born by the will of God and his purpose. In asking about why we're on this Earth rojects depending on our desires (I want to study, I want to do ...) but we forget that the purpose is of God. We were created by God and for God (it reminds me that means that we made in His image and likeness).
is very different to succeed in life that fulfill the purpose of it. If we were created for a purpose and obvious "the manufacturer's manual" hard to find the reason for our existence.

Task book

Day One:
Thinking about my purpose

point of reflection: is not me ( but what God wants for my life)
Verses: "It started in it and for the purposes of him "Colossians 1:16 b
Question to consider: Despite all the publicity that surrounds me, what I can do to remember that life is to live for God and not for myself?

My thoughts:
I think the best is to think that God knows us perfectly and we are not ourselves same. So many things that we want may not be correct and we are diverting the purpose of God for us.
Furthermore, Scripture says that "the will of God is pleasing and perfect", so follow the path God has for us will be the full path. Of course, may initially not be easy but finding that the Lord has for us we have found the perfect.

The miraculous catch

sorprede The Lord always. This time before we pray for an answer and gave me ..
preaching focused on Thursday that there are things that the Lord asks of us and we do not want ... but that the Lord asks of us must do:
  • spite of ourselves and see
  • but that does not bear fruit.
The biblical support is in Luke 5 where Jesus asks the fishermen throw nets again after a night in which I was very wrong with fishing. They were tired and let down their nets again would be crazy. But Simon said "in your name the cast" and fished while the nets were breaking.
When we do what the Lord asks of us and we do not win, and we believe it will be unsuccessful, but we do on behalf of the miraculous catch occurs!

Thank you, Lord, for those seeking rspuesta!

intercede ...

Today I met with a Christian friend. We had to talk about certain projects, but also the Lord wanted him to convey what I experienced over the weekend. His experience was
magnificent: he shared with the Eagles Group, which is what the campaign supported the current president of the Federation of Students of the University of Concepción (FEC), Héctor Muñoz. This campaign has been unprecedented because it was religious.
One of the things that gave me and I was very strong was the intercession : many times as Christians we need to pray for each other. Many times we pray for someone and we can not gauge the power it has. How many times have prayed for us and did not know how many times we've prayed for someone and maybe we were a great blessing and do not appreciate it.
I'm sure all we need to pray for us. So I propose that the comments of this blog can do three things:
  • put your request and I will write a prayer for her. Obviously if the petition is only asking for secret prayer without saying why.
  • writing that you pray for me that the Lord will help me in this challenging year in every sense (spiritual, academic, labor, material, emotional ...)
  • that they can pray also for those who have set their request here in the comments, also written there.
I think if there is something beautiful in the Gospel is to be blessed, and the most precious thing is that we are when we bless others!

Lord Jesus, now let me thank you for what you're doing in my life. Thank you because you give us blessed to bless and be blessed.
Thank you Lord for Fernando, through whom I spoke today, who would have asked to reaffirm what you've already been talking about these days. Bless your life, your family and your projects.
Lord Thank you for the Eagles Group, who are making a revolution as you like. Lord take care of them, bless them, give them the strength to continue in your battle.
I ask a special blessing for those who written comments on this blog, so that by highlighting their petitions and intercessions each day can be filled with you.

In the name of Jesus

Amen

Fall ...

I see that when the Lord dropped a lot, it comes a great blessing ...
And when you've been discriminated against enlarges, and when you were "tail" is to create values \u200b\u200band has been his hand that made you "head."
Today a friend told me that my example is to be pursued, to be persistent with what you want, believes and loves. He also told me he remembered my vision (ie, put my career in the service of God.) Could I be an example of someone? At these words I could not believe it, could not tell me that these things ... but the Lord also makes us fall and rise for others to see that it is possible. Still, do not deserve so many words, the honor is for the Lord ...
I am so grateful to God for all he has done in my life made me fall, but now I know that without stepping on the bottom I could not have driven to the surface.
